How It Works
The localization system follows a straightforward hierarchy: Projects contain Strings, and Strings have Translations. Here is the typical flow:
- Create a project — Define the scope (e.g., "Mobile App"), set your source language, add target languages, and choose export formats.
- Add strings — Enter the text that needs translating, with optional context to help translators understand where each string appears.
- Translate — Translators provide translations for each string in each target language. AI-generated translations can jump-start the process.
- Review — All translations go through a review workflow. AI-generated translations must be reviewed by a human before they can be published.
- Publish and export — Approved translations are published and exported in the formats your apps need — Android XML, iOS Strings, JSON, and more.
Multi-Format Export
Once translations are approved and published, you can export them in the format your apps and websites need. Bosca supports Android XML, iOS Strings, JSON variants, Flutter ARB, and the industry-standard XLIFF interchange format. See the Export & Sync page for the full list.
External Tool Integration
